AAP accuses BJP of using ED and CBI as political tools, questions lack of action in Job Scam probe

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) intensified its fight against the BJP government over the ongoing cash-for-jobs scam, accusing it of selling government jobs and betraying the trust of Goan youth. AAP Youth Wing leaders staged a unique protest at Dempo College complex on Tuesday, mimicking a BJP stall selling government jobs to highlight the scam.

AAP Working President Valmiki Naik declared, “The BJP has put government jobs up for sale, destroying the future of countless youth. AAP will not stop until justice is served. We demand an independent Judicial Commission to investigate this scam and urge protection for whistleblowers under the Whistleblower Act. This is not just a scam—it’s a systematic betrayal.”

Naik added, “Police officials themselves admitted the scam has been running since 2014. Such corruption cannot persist without government backing. The BJP’s intimidation tactics are preventing victims from coming forward, further proving the need for an independent inquiry.”

AAP State Youth Wing President Rohan Naik slammed the BJP’s reluctance to act, stating, “BJP asked for proof, and we delivered. From leaked audio clips of BJP Curtorim leaders demanding ₹25 lakh bribes to statements by BJP’s own leaders accusing ministers of selling jobs, the evidence is overwhelming. Yet, BJP continues its delaying tactics to suppress the truth.”

Rohan Naik also reminded the public of explosive allegations made by a former Governor of Goa Satyapal Malik, who accused CM Pramod Sawant and his wife of demanding bribes. “What other proof does the BJP need? The truth is, they are busy trying to cover up instead of delivering justice.”

AAP Youth Wing Vice President Salman Khan expressed concern for families, saying, “Parents are taking loans for their children’s education and now have to take loans for jobs as well? This government has betrayed the trust of the people and turned public welfare into personal profit.”

AAP leader Chetan Kamat threw down the gauntlet to the BJP government, saying, “Give AAP a chance to lead for just 10 days, and we will expose not only the job scam but also all the other scams BJP has orchestrated over the last decade.”

AAP General Secretary (Campaign and Communication) Francis Coelho highlighted how ED & CBI are selectively targeting opposition leaders while ignoring major scams involving BJP. “ED is meant to curb money laundering, but why is it silent on the cash-for-jobs scam in Goa? Why isn’t it probing this massive corruption?” Coelho questioned.

Taking a sharp dig at BJP leaders, Coelho addressed their recent press conference dismissing Former Governor Satyapal Malik’s allegations. “When Malik exposed the BJP’s corruption, he suddenly became a ‘blabbering’ individual in their eyes. But let’s not forget, he was BJP’s National Vice President and handpicked by PM Modi to oversee critical events like the abrogation of Article 370 in J&K. He was perfect until he revealed their wrongdoings,” Coelho remarked.

AAP’s Key Demands

  1. Independent Judicial Commission: To investigate the job scam without bias.
  2. Whistleblower Protection: To ensure safety for those exposing the scam.
