Panaji: The Aam Aadmi Party’s South Goa unit held a Chintan Baithak on Tuesday in Navelim, where a detailed review of the results of the recently held assembly election was conducted. The meeting held under the leadership of Sr. Vice-President Mahadev Naik, senior leader Adv. Amit Palekar and General Secretary Gerson Gomes, and was attended by party MLAs Engr. Cruz Silva and Capt. Venzy Viegas, besides all the AAP candidates who had contested the assembly polls from South Goa constituencies. Detailed feedback was given by the various candidates on the performance of the party in their respective constituency, and suggestions for the way forward were also provided. During the Chintan Baithak, the AAP leaders discussed the election campaign in detail, as well as the next steps for strengthening the party in Goa.It has been decided to restructure the party and launch an aggressive membership drive. The upcoming Panchayat election and the Lok Sabha elections were also discussed at the meeting.
