Benaulim: In a successful operation led by PI Dattaram Raut of the Crime Branch team, a major narcotic and psychotropic raid took place in Benaulim, Salcete, Goa. The team, comprising LASI Shital Naik, HC-5887 Ashok R. Gawade, PC-6018 Vinayak U. Sawant, PC-6893 Samiulla Makandar, and LPC-8488 Roshni Shirodkar, conducted the operation, resulting in the apprehension of a female suspect.
The accused, identified as Mangala Kuradkar, wife of Vishal Kuradkar, aged 40 years, and residing at J.P. Road, Behind Building No.152, Teen Bungalow, Pipe Line, Khar East, Mumbai, Maharashtra, was caught red-handed with illegal possession of 05 grams of MDMA. The estimated value of the seized drugs is approximately half a lakh in the international market.
The raid was a significant step in combating the drug trade in the area, and the Crime Branch team is actively conducting further investigations. PSI Girish T. Padloskar is leading the ongoing investigation, working diligently to uncover any additional information related to the case.
