Panaji – The high handedness and dictatorship of the BJP has begun in the State and BJP goons are targeting Congress Workers, especially in the constituencies where BJP lost miserably. It is unfortunate that Police are protecting the BJP goons instead of protecting Citizens charged Congress Media Cell Chairman Amarnath Panjikar.
I am shocked that the acting & temporary Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant went to create a political drama in Mormugao by visiting a patient who was admitted in Chicalim Hospital on grounds of political sickness stated Amarnath Panjikar.
I appeal to the Director General of Police Dr. Indradev Shukla to ensure that strict action is taken against the real culprits who assaulted our workers when they were celebrating holi at Bogda in Mormugao. The man who is admitted in hospital actually tried to run over with his car on one of our workers. It is the BJP culture to run over with vehicles on innocent people charged Amarnath Panjikar.
BJP candidates who lost elections are now frustrated and have started harassing and abusing the people who did not support them. Such incidents are reported from Quepem, Cuncolim, Saligao, Curtorim and many other constituencies. Congress Party functionaries will not remain as mute spectators if this continues warned Amarnath Panjikar. DGP must take serious note of such incidents and give protection to the people of Goa he stated.
