Panaji, 11 August 2026: The Revolutionary Goans Party (RGP) acknowledges the communication received from GPCC President Shri Girish Chodankar proposing the initiation of talks for an electoral alliance ahead of the 2027 Goa Assembly Elections.
RGP welcomes this initiative in the spirit of the larger interest of Goa and Goans.
For generations, ordinary Goans have stood together to protect what makes our homeland unique our land, identity, culture, environment, traditions and our way of life. From our villages to our towns, people have repeatedly raised their voices whenever Goa’s future has been threatened.
Today, Goa stands at an important crossroads. The question before us is not merely about elections or political arrangements. It is about what kind of Goa we will leave behind for our children and future generations.
If political forces that genuinely believe in protecting Goa can come together, listen to the aspirations of our people and put Goa above political interests, it can give hope to lakhs of Person of Goan Origin who are looking for a credible and united alternative.
RGP therefore looks forward to a positive and constructive response and meaningful dialogue with the GPCC. We are ready to engage with an open mind and a sincere heart, while keeping the interests of the common Goan at the centre of every discussion.
Any alliance must ultimately belong not to political parties, but to the people of Goa the farmers, fishermen, workers, youth, small business owners, families and every Goan who has a stake in protecting our beloved Goa.
Our differences may be political, but our responsibility towards Goa is shared.
Goa must remain for Goans, and Goa’s identity must be safeguarded for generations to come.
