Upon specific information Crime Branch team lead by PI, Laxi Amonkar and staff PSI Girish Tukaram Padloskar, LHC-4574, Sneha Javer, HC-4687, Irshad Watangi, PC.B.No.5992, Navin Palyenkar, PC-6004 Kalpesh Shirodkar, PC- 6009, Mahabaleshwar Sawant, PC- 6817, Anish Tari, PC- 6800, Kamlesh Dhargalkar, LPC-8488, Roshni Shirodkar, conducted a narcotic raid in a rented room at H.No.11, Agniwaddo, Guirim, Bardez Goa belonging to Ramakant Kauthankar on 19.09.2024 in between 18.00 hrs to 21.00 hrs and caught red handed accused lady Asha W/o Ajay Kumar Lakra, Age 40 years, R/o H.No.11, Agniwaddo, Guirim, Bardez Goa native of Chattisgarh for being in possession of one cream colour ladies purse containing in it two blue colour polythene bags containing in it triangular shape blue colour tablets and oval shape green colour tablets 268 in numbers weighing 118.537 grams suspected to be MDMA/ Ecstasy tablets and same were attached under the panchanama.
Also one purple colour mobile phone make Techno Spark and one Aadhar card No.88160822xxxx registered in the name of Asha Ajay Lakra are taken in to custody. All above worth Rs. 6,80,000/- were seized from the instance of accused lady.
Further investigation of the case is in progress with PI, Laxi G. Amonkar under supervision of DYSP, Rajesh Kumar, Crime Branch PS and Supdt. Of Police, Crime, Shri. Rahul Gupta, IPS.
