Panaji: TCP Minister Vishwajit P. Rane recently engaged in a detailed discussion with Venzy Viegas, the Hon’ble MLA of Benaulim Constituency, to address concerns raised during the assembly session. Rane assured Viegas that these issues, particularly regarding the Bhutani Project, would be given due consideration. The Minister requested detailed factual representations and committed to taking necessary actions based on the findings.
While speaking with Goa Plus news channel representative , Viegas confirmed that the TCP Minister had also pledged to thoroughly review other major developments, including the DLF Villa’s Project at Reis Magos Verem and projects by Lodha and Bhutani, which are allegedly involved in environmental destruction. Rane emphasized his steadfast commitment to adhering to all rules and regulations as the TCP Minister, ensuring that due process is followed diligently.
Today evening MLA Venzy Viegas along with Saligao AAP Block and leaders had visited & Inspected DLF Villa’s Project at Verem Reis Magos and had strongly demanded that the mass destruction should be stopped.
Rane also acknowledged that mistakes can occur, underscoring the assembly’s role as a vital platform for the opposition to voice concerns and for the government to make informed decisions and take corrective actions. He urged caution before naming projects without thoroughly examining the facts. The BJP government in Goa, he affirmed, remains dedicated to upholding the law and taking appropriate actions as required.
