Mapusa: A Sensitisation program was held for Travel Trade and Hospitality Stakeholders to train the first focal point contact personnel of hotels (Housekeeping department, Front office dept. Doorman, Bell boys, Security Travel trade professionals, Auto Coach, Taxi drivers, Souvenir shop owners, and others, will be at services during the forthcoming G20 on April 2023.
Representatives from the hotel front office, Food & beverages, and others attended the program.
The meeting was chaired by SDPO Mapusa Jivba Dalvi along with Anjuna PI Prassal Dessai.
An increase in domestic travel, especially the leisure segment, had already given wings to the industry this year and industry experts believe that with G20, the global arrivals will rise, which will further boost the sector so the outlook for 2023 is bright and optimistic.
SDPO Dalvi expressed his views regarding the service standards and ensuring the safety of everyone during the G20 summit and requested everyone’s support in making the event a grand success as it will help in taking Goa to more far away joints of the world.
Many queries were raised by stakeholders during the interactive session which were answered by Jivba Dalvi.
