Margao – The advertisment appeal to register for pre-sale tickets is on the Official Verified X handle of Sunburn Festival. Will Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant dare to register a FIR against the Organisers for issuing advetisments without Government of Goa approval or he is part of Match Fixing? questioned Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao.
After converting North Goa into Drug & Crime Hub, BJP Government under Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant & Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte are now setting their Evil Eye on South Goa. This is one more attempt of taking revenge of Loksabha defeat by allowing Sunburn Festival in South Goa in 2024, said Yuri Alemao.
It is clear that the BJP Government is hypothecated to the Sunburn Organisers. That is the reason, Government has not taken any action on Advertisment issued by Sunburn Festival to host the event in South Goa, charged Yuri Alemao.
BJP has finished Goan Culture and Heritage by promoting activities like Sunburn. It is known to all that deaths of persons attending the Festival have taken place in the past, but Government has always covered-up the facts, said Yuri Alemao.
Sunburn should not be given permission to host the event anywhere in Goa. We will not allow it in South Goa and will also oppose it in North Goa. This Festival has done enough damage and now time has come to stop it permanently, stated Yuri Alemao.
