Irresponsible Minister for Legislative Affairs must stop giving sermons to Congress MLAs on Assembly Norms & instead Apologise to the Goans for the Murder of Democracy by BJP Government, demanded Curchorem Block Congress President Parag Sabnis.
Reacting to the statement of Legislative Affairs Minister Nilesh Cabral stating that Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao and the other two MLAs should not use the tag of “New MLAs”, Curchorem Block President has said that despite being 2 time Minister, Nilesh Cabral still does not know his duties.
It is an open secret that corruption has rooted in PWD & Environment Departments. The result is a Fridge with a power connection set up on the new Zuari Bridge without any permissions. The road near Azad Maidan, Panjim caves causing danger to commuters. It is free for all in illegal coastal hotels as sound restrictions are violated every day by them, pointed out Parag Sabnis.
It is high time that Nilesh Cabral should read volumes of past Assembly Sessions; especially during the Congress Governments’ regime. He will understand how Opposition was given due importance & equal opportunities in the business of the house, said Parag Sabnis.
It is a fact that BJP Government is rattled after seeing the seven opposition MLA’s coming together after Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao convened their meeting. This came as a big blow to the BJP Government stated Parag Sabnis.
All three Congress MLAs and the Party Organisation are united and we will not tolerate any loose comments on our leaders. We will continue to be the voice of Goans, Parag Sabnis said.
