The Revolutionary Goans Party (RGP) held an all-Goa members’ meeting in Porvorim today to discuss strategies for the 2027 assembly elections and strengthen the party’s objectives. The meeting marked the significant return of RGP President Manoj Parab to active politics after a hiatus, signaling a renewed vigor in the party’s leadership.
Addressing the gathering, Parab emphasized the party’s commitment to safeguarding Goa’s land and cultural identity from what he termed the “Delhi lobby.” “Believe in yourself and the party’s ideology. Work towards protecting our land and securing our future. In the days ahead, we must be more active, dedicated, and committed to achieving our objectives. Let’s drive the revolution forward!” he urged.
Manoj Parab, known for his vocal stance on issues affecting Goa, has previously contested elections from the Valpoi constituency in North Goa. His comeback is expected to reignite discussions on critical issues such as environmental conservation, infrastructure development, and the protection of Goa’s unique cultural heritage.
Alongside Parab, MLA Viresh Borkar, General Secretary Vishvesh Naik, and Treasurer Ajay Kholkar also addressed the gathering, reinvigorating party members to work tirelessly toward achieving their shared vision.
