Panaji – Goa, September 1, 2023: – The Startup and IT Promotion Cell of Goa proudly introduces the Goa Startup Yatra 2.0, a pioneering initiative to nurture the startup ecosystem in alignment with the Goa Startup Mission. This dynamic program is tailored to empower students aspiring to delve into entrepreneurship, offering them guidance, mentorship, and incubation support to shape their innovative concepts into thriving ventures.
Kicking off on September 04, 2023, and continuing until October 13, 2023, the inaugural phase of the program entails immersive entrepreneurship workshops across 30+ esteemed educational institutions throughout Goa. Subsequently, in the months of November and December 2023, the spotlight shifts to the Student Launchpad Programme. This intensive bootcamp will select two outstanding students or groups from each institution. These promising minds will then receive up to a year of incubation support from renowned network incubators, benefitting from mentorship and resources that facilitate their growth. Promising projects will be further bolstered through state-supported grants and tailored support in forging strategic partnerships.
The program’s invaluable partnerships encompass incubators within Goa, including the Atal Innovation Council – Goa Institute of Management (AIC – GIM), BITS Goa Innovation, Incubation & Entrepreneurship Society (BGIIES), Centre for Incubation & Business Acceleration (CIBA), and Forum for Innovation Incubation Research and Entrepreneurship (FiiRE).

Positioned to become a flagship event within the Goa Startup ecosystem, the Goa Startup Yatra targets engagement with over 5,000 students from diverse public and private institutions. This initiative has garnered support from stakeholders, hailed as a compelling solution to mitigate brain drain.
