Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant presided over the signing of a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Government of Goa and Harvard University, represented by Dr. Dominic Mao and Dr. Andrea Wright. This collaboration is set to revolutionize public education in Goa by introducing transformative programs designed to uplift underprivileged students.
Chief Minister Sawant highlighted that the initiative, titled the Program for Scientifically-Inspired Leadership (PSIL), will create a dynamic platform uniting three key groups: Harvard University students as instructors, Goan college students as instructor fellows, and higher secondary school students from public schools as the program’s primary beneficiaries.
The Chief Minister emphasized that this partnership marks a significant step toward promoting academic excellence, leadership development, and equitable opportunities for all students in Goa.
