Vijai Sardesai, President of the Goa Forward Party, has called for the immediate cancellation of the Lower Division Clerk (LDC) recruitment process in the South Goa Collectorate, following widespread allegations of irregularities. Claims have surfaced regarding demands for cash, procedural violations, and bypassing of established norms, casting a shadow over the entire process.
Sardesai urged the government to prioritize transparency and merit in addressing Goa’s unemployment crisis. He reminded the minister of his own past allegations of irregularities in the PWD recruitment process, which led to its cancellation. Sardesai stressed that the government now bears the responsibility of ensuring a clean, fair recruitment process for the LDC positions.
