Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant has categorically stated that No Permisson is given to Sunburn Festival in Goa. How can Sale of Tickets start without Permissions? What about GST component on the Ticket? Will you act or remain quiet?, questioned Amit Patkar.
I condemn statement of Goa Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte who wants Citizens to file Complaint against the illegal sale of Tickets. Why cant Government act taking suo-moto cognizance? questioned Amit Patkar.
BJP Government is deliberately allowing all this to happen as this Sunburn Festival gives huge kickbacks to all Cabinet Ministers, BJP MLAs and Office Bearers. This festival has become annual Money Making Event for them, charged Amit Patkar.
I allege that this Drug Festival is promoted by Modi-Shah as the Organisers are Members of their Crony Club. I thank the Panchayats in Goa who have passed resolutions opposing Sunburn in South Goa. I appeal to People of North Goa to oppose it tooth and nail. Let us stand united to protect future of our Children, said Amit Patkar.
I am waiting for the response from the Finance Minister. If she fails to act, it will be certain that Double Engine Government is part of the Scam, stated Amit Patkar.
