‘BHRAMASTRA 2.0’ Folk Dance Festival Showcases Goa’s Rich Cultural Heritage

Bagwada-Khandola: The Brameshwar Sports and Cultural Club, in association with the Department of Art and Culture, Government of Goa, successfully hosted the vibrant ‘BHRAMASTRA 2.0’ Folk Dance Festival at Haldanwada School Ground.

Honourable Minister for Art and Culture, Govind Gaude, graced the event as chief guest. In his address, he underscored the importance of preserving Goa’s traditional folk arts and praised such cultural initiatives for their role in community enrichment.

The evening, anchored by Vaibhavi Gaonkar, featured a captivating performance by Shubham Naik and showcased traditional Goan folk dances including Goff, Lamp Dance, Kunbi, and Musal. Each act received enthusiastic applause, highlighting the community’s deep connection to its artistic roots.

The festival concluded with a vote of thanks by Tejnath Khandolkar, President of the Brameshwar Sports and Cultural Club, who expressed gratitude to all participants and supporters.
