ARISE conducts a 2 Day Workshop in Goa; sets “Vision 2030” for transformation of the Indian School Education sector

ARISE (Association for Re-inventing School Education), an independent school education body representing 1,200 schools, 85,000 teachers, and 1.5 million students conducted a 2 day workshop at the Taj Fort Aguada Resort , Goa on 27th & 28th September 2024. The workshop marked a significant milestone in shaping the future of K-12 education in India. The event brought together leading Industry Leaders and Private School Promoters of CBSE, IB & ICSE schools to collectively build a strategic vision for the sector to achieve by Year 2030.

Guided by its motto, “Student First,” the workshop encouraged interactive discussions and thought exchanges on crucial topics including progressive industry partnerships and community partnerhsips collaborative initiatives with the state and central governments, empowerment of ARISE state chapters and international exchange programs for fostering innovation and excellence in education to tackle the diverse and complex challenges within India’s expansive school education system. The workshop was also attended by Dr Rajesh Pankaj, Director of Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry ( FICCI) under who’s aegis ARISE was incubated in Year 2016.

Speaking on the occasion, Prabhat Jain, Co – Founder & President, ARISE expressed satisfaction at the success of the 2 day workshop and said ” ARISE was designed to unite progressive school founders, educators, policymakers, think tanks, educationists, and technical experts to catalyze meaningful educational reforms. i am delighted to note the dedication and time given by our members to the 2 day workshop that encouraged enriching discussions, peer-to-peer thought exchanges and jointly tabling solutions to help empower school students to thrive in the 21st century by promoting resilience, adaptability, and innovation. ARISE is committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and mutual respect while fostering an open environment for continuous dialogue. I look forward to many such workshops conducted jointly by the secretariat, ARISE & the members and also encourage the State Chairs to replicate them in their respective state chapters”

The workshop was also attended by many other leading industry leaders including senior executives from leading consulting firms like Ernst & Young.
