Delhi University, Saturday Night (13-14th): In an incident that has tarnished the democratic spirit of educational institutions, members of the National Students Union of India (NSUI), affiliated with the Indian National Congress, have been accused of vandalism and misconduct at the Delhi University Students Union (DUSU) office.

Under the influence of alcohol, these individuals reportedly damaged office equipment and desecrated statues of revered figures such as Lord Ram, Lord Hanuman, and Swami Vivekananda. This unruly behavior has exposed what ABVP claims to be the true nature of NSUI.

The incident, which occurred in the early hours of Sunday, has sparked nationwide outrage. Continuing this wave of protests, ABVP members in Goa staged a demonstration on Monday, July 15, within the university campus to voice their disapproval.

Sankalp Faldesai, ABVP Konkan Regional Minister, stated, “NSUI’s hooliganism is on the rise. Rejected by students everywhere, they have now resorted to violence and destruction. There should be a ban on their entry in all colleges in Goa. The students of Goa will not tolerate drunkards and violent individuals.”
