Technical Glitch Causes Delay in Food Grain Distribution

Panaji, February 7, 2025: The Department of Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs has informed that beneficiaries may experience delays in receiving food grains for February 2025 due to technical issues affecting the supply chain.

Efforts have been made to resolve the glitches, and transportation resumed on February 5, 2025. However, some Fair Price Shops may still face delays of 5 to 6 days in distribution.

Public Distribution System (PDS) beneficiaries are advised to visit their respective fair price shops after February 10, 2025, to collect their monthly food grain quota.
