Youth leader Warren Alemao has strongly criticized Benaulim MLA Venzy Viegas for his remarks on Opinion Poll Day. Alemao accused Viegas of disrespecting Goa’s historic leaders by failing to honor Dr. Jack Sequeira, the architect of Goa’s identity, and instead drawing comparisons between the state’s corrupt government and Bhausaheb Bandodkar’s legacy.
Terming Viegas’ comments as a blatant insult to Goa’s towering figures, Alemao reiterated his stance that the Aam Aadmi Party and Viegas are aligned with the BJP. “Come 2027, the people of Benaulim will teach him a lesson in true Goan pride,” Alemao asserted, emphasizing the need for leaders who uphold Goa’s heritage and identity.
