Panaji, May 31, 2026: Goa Forward Party Chief Vijai Sardesai, along with State Executive Member Kadar Shah and General Secretary (Organisation) Durgadas Kamat, held a crucial meeting with members of the GFP Minority Cell today at the party office.
During the meeting, Sardesai patiently heard the grievances and concerns of the community members, who raised several pressing issues, including a demand for Kabrastan. Other concerns related to social welfare, infrastructure were also discussed.
In a significant move to strengthen the party’s outreach and inclusivity, Sardesai announced a major revamp of the GFP Minority Cell within a week. The restructuring aims to enhance representation and ensure that the voices of minority communities are effectively carried forward within the party’s decision-making framework.
The meeting was part of GFP’s ongoing efforts to rebuild its organisational structure from the grassroots and reaffirm its commitment to a progressive, inclusive, and people-centric Goa.
