Goa Forward Party President Vijai Sardesai has alleged that the BJP government has normalized corruption in the state, warning that a lack of action from authorities like the police, ACB, and vigilance agencies would further reinforce this trend. Referring to statements made by Pandurang Madkaiker, Sardesai asserted that such revelations are not new and that he has repeatedly highlighted similar issues in the Assembly.
He claimed that assembly sessions are deliberately shortened to prevent discussions on past scams. Sardesai also pointed out a veiled warning from Minister Mauvin Godinho to Madkaiker, suggesting that attempts to silence him have already begun. Expressing skepticism about any probe into the matter, Sardesai remarked that he does not expect any action from the authorities.
