Vasco: SMRC’s V.M. Salgaocar Hospital, Goa, is all set to conduct an exclusive Community Health Service Camp on Pulmonary, Dermatology and Cosmetology ailments.
This camp will take place on 15th April at SMRC’s V.M. Salgaocar Hospital, Chicalim, Goa with the first session beginning from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and the second session from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm and will provide free consultations for common Pulmonary, Dermatology and Cosmetology ailments.
In addition, the camp will also be organizing a health awareness seminar with experienced doctors and specialists to educate the community on early detection and prevention of such conditions.
The seminar will be hosted by SMRC’s expert doctors:
Dr. Ajay Rao, Pulmonologist, who will educate people about Asthma, Sleep Apnea, Tuberculosis, Post-Covid Syndrome, Lung Infections and other related illnesses.
Dr. Preeti Savardekar,Dermatologist and Cosmetologist, from South Mumbai, who will educate men, women and teenagers about Skin Infections, Acne, Anti-Ageing, Wrinkle Control, Stretch Marks, Fungal Infections, Hair-Loss and other related ailments with different treatment options available for them.
Furthermore, it has also been observed that there are a sizable number of patients suffering from such health problems in Goa who are either unaware of their condition or do not receive proper medical attention.
Due to the lack of knowledge on the causes and treatment options available in the state, there has been a dire need to spread awareness about the same.
Hence, SMRC’s Community Health Service camp aims at fostering better quality of health for the people of Goa. It will help them understand the triggers, causes, prevention and treatment options of such conditions with a systematic assessment and treatment plan for the patient to
ensure each individual gets personalized care.
