Salgaocar Hospital, Goa, in association with Caring Souls successfully organized a blood donation camp at the SMRC Hospital, Off Airport Road, Chicalim-Goa in collaboration with the Goa Medical College (GMC) as the blood donation bank.

This awareness camp program endeavors to educate people across the state on the importance of blood donation and encourage them to come forward and help save lives.
As per reports, every day thousands of people in India die due to a sheer lack of donated blood.

This emphasizes the need for sustained and concerted efforts from all citizens in raising the level of awareness and joining the noble cause by Vasco a donor.

With an aim to reach out to the community, SMRC Hospital initiated the drive, which saw over 35 people donate blood and receive a ‘Donor’s Card’.
The Donor Card was issued by GMC to those who donated blood at the camp and a certificate was awarded by the Caring Souls to the donors.
