Panaji: The Revolutionary Goans Party (RGP) has strongly denied all allegations levelled by certain St. Andre members against the party and Party President Manoj Parab, terming the claims as an attempt to create a “false and misleading narrative.” In an official press release issued on May 19, the party stated that records, correspondence, and email trails clearly prove that official communications were sent and responded to on multiple occasions.
According to the party, the St. Andre Block had first requested an official meeting through an email dated April 9, 2026, to which the party replied on the same day and again on April 11. RGP further stated that on April 13, an official communication was sent to the block regarding serious anti-party activities and disciplinary issues, followed by a reminder on April 20, but the block allegedly failed to respond.
The party also claimed that after another email from the St. Andre Block, RGP officially replied on April 27 and advised the block to convene a meeting with the MLA and deliberate on the issues, especially considering the MLA’s continued absence from CEC meetings. However, the party alleged that no compliance or update was received thereafter.
RGP further stated that another official email was issued on April 21 regarding a show cause notice served to another member, but the communication was again allegedly ignored without any response from the block.
The party maintained that all official communications were duly sent through proper channels and accused certain St. Andre members of deliberately overlooking the same. Condemning what it described as attempts to spread misinformation, suppress material facts, and tarnish the image of the leadership through selective statements, RGP warned the concerned members against making false and anti-party remarks. The party added that any further attempts to mislead workers or create internal indiscipline may invite disciplinary action in accordance with the party constitution.
