National conference of chairpersons of State Public Service Commissions held at lucknow on April 22-23

Panaji: The national conference of chairpersons of state PSCs was inaugurated by Yogi Adityanath, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh at Lucknow on April 22.
At the inaugural Adityanath outlined the various achievements of Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission and complimented the chairman Sanjay Shrinet for the transparency and efficiency in the working of the UPPSC.

Others present were Rajeev Choubey and Lt Gen Raj Shukla, both Members of UPSC, Jose Manuel Noronha, Chairman of Goa Public Service Commission and Chairman Standing Committee besides other officials of the state of Uttar Pradesh.

Others who spoke included Choubey, Noronha and Shrinet.

The conference discussed many issues concerning public service commissions in the country and was attended by twenty five states across the country. Important agenda items included digital evaluations, framing of recruitment rules, judicial pronouncements in important cases of public service commissions etc.

The chief guest for the valedictory program was Justice Rajesh Bindal, Judge Supreme Court of India who in his valedictory address highlighted various issues that come before the constitutional courts regarding recruitment to government offices and he shared some of his experiences with the attendees.
