Margao – I am happy that the ruling BJP MLAs Dr. Deviya Rane & Rajesh Faldessai showed Mirror to Government on Mess in Industrial Estates in Goa during my Calling Attention & dicussion on reply to Legislative Assembly Question, said Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao.
I had moved a Private Member Resolution demanding High Level Inquiry Commission comprising of Experts under Retired High Court Judge to investigate Mess in Industrial Estates in Goa. However, the same did not get listed in the Business, informed Yuri Alemao.
Valpoi MLA Dr. Deviya Rane completely exposed the Government by narrating irregularities & violations by various Industrial Units in Honda Industrial Estate. Cumbarjua MLA Rajesh Faldessai also targeted the Governments attitude on Korlim Industrial Estate, Yuri Alemao said.
I am consistently raising the issue of illegalities, pollution and encroachments in Cuncolim Industrial Estate. Quepem MLA Altone D’Costa also raised concerns about pollution in Cuncolim Industrial Estate which affects Farmers of Quepem, said Yuri Alemao.
I have replies to Legislative Assembly Questions which bring to light that there are complete violations of all sorts in Cuncolim Industrial Estate. It is high time Government acts before a big disaster takes place, Yuri Alemao warned.
I hope Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant will act and shut all such Units which violate Government guidelines, said Yuri Alemao.
