The Corporation of the City of Panaji (CCP) has commenced the removal of the corroded footbridge, which posed a safety risk to school students and commuters. With the dismantling now underway, a contractor has been hired to minimize disruptions to the school. The project is expected to be completed within two days, with a provisional budget of Rs 10 lakhs.
