Margao – Madganvcho Awaaz and youth leader Prabhav Naik has contributed Rs.1,11,111 to the “Enough is Enough Goa” movement as a mark of support towards the ongoing efforts to protect Goa’s land, identity and heritage. The cheque was handed over to Justice (Retd) Ferdino Rebello at Dona Paula.
Madganvcho Awaaz is observing 16th January 2026 to 16th January 2027 as “Asmitai Vars” commemorating 60 years of historic Opinion Poll. We reiterate our commitment to support initiatives aimed at preserving Goa’s land, culture and identity, said Prabhav Naik.
Prabhav Naik stated that the contribution was announced by him on the occasion of his birthday as a symbolic gesture towards strengthening people’s movements working in the larger interest of Goa. He said the “Enough is Enough Goa” movement has played an important role in creating awareness and mobilising citizens on issues concerning the future of the state.
He further said that Goa today faces increasing challenges in the form of unplanned development, destruction of natural resources and attempts to dilute the unique identity of the state. Naik emphasised that collective public participation is essential to safeguard Goa for future generations.
Naik also appealed to citizens, especially the youth, to come forward and generously support the efforts of Enough is Enough Goa. He said every contribution, big or small, would help strengthen the movement and send a strong message in favour of protecting Goa’s interests.
