ITP Raid in Goa: Crime Branch Rescues 2 Nepali Girls, Arrests 3 Accused Involved in Prostitution

In a targeted operation based on specific information, the Crime Branch team, led by PI Laxi Amonkar, conducted an ITP raid at Hotel Hello Inn and Summer Hill Guest House in Nerul, Bardez, Goa. The successful raid resulted in the rescue of two victim girls, both Nepal nationals, who were being exploited in the illegal sex trade.

During the operation, the Crime Branch arrested three individuals involved in the heinous crime. The accused persons are identified as follows:
1) Mr. Lal Vishan Das Sarai, also known as Aditya, son of Vishan Das, aged 37 years, originally from Verem, Goa, but native of Ahemdabad, Gujarat.
2) Mr. Suraj, son of Dharmaraj Sharma, aged 25 years, a resident of Saligao, Goa, but native of Assam.
3) Vishal Kumar, son of Indrapal Rathod, aged 21 years, a resident of Nerul, Goa, but native of Dist. Kannoj, Uttar Pradesh.

These accused individuals were involved in the supply of victim girls to customers for the purpose of prostitution, particularly in public places. They were found to be living off the earnings generated through this illegal activity.

The arrested pimps, namely Lal Vishan Das Sarai, Suraj, and Vishal Kumar, were taken into custody on 7th June 2023 at 01:30 hours and are currently held in police custody. The case is under investigation, supervised by Dy.SP Crime, Shri. Suraj Halankar, with PI Nathan Almeida leading the ongoing investigation.

The successful rescue operation and subsequent arrests highlight the commitment of the Crime Branch to combat human trafficking and protect the vulnerable. Such actions send a strong message to individuals involved in such heinous activities, emphasizing that the law will not tolerate the exploitation of innocent lives.
