India: IDBI Bank announced the launch of its hackathon, “IDBI Innovate 2026,” a forward-looking initiative aimed at fostering innovation and accelerating digital transformation across the banking ecosystem.
The event was formally inaugurated by Shri Rakesh Sharma, MD & CEO, IDBI Bank, marking a significant step in the Bank’s commitment to embracing next-generation technologies. Built around the theme “Build. Integrate. Transform.”, the hackathon invites participation from start-ups, fintechs, developers, and innovators from across India. The initiative is designed to harness creative and technological talent to address real-world challenges faced by the banking industry.
