Panaji : Goa Forward Party(GFP) President Vijai Sardesai said GFP has suspended all talks of alliance with congress for now.
Sardesai’s statement came after All India Congress Committee election observer for Goa P Chidambaram said Congress will not talk about alliance as of now.
Sardesai said the upcoming Goa assembly election is scheduled in the year 2022 and not 2027, accordingly political parties should plan for alliance soon.
“Goa Forward party’s silence in not raising the misdeed of Goa Congress should not be mistaken for GFP being complacent, we will highlight the shortcomings of Congress,” said Sardesai.
Sardesai asserted that like-minded politicians know what Goans want and that they will come together as a united front if need arises.
