Goa SSC Examination Results: Girls Outshine Boys

Panaji, May 16 — The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) announced the results of the Class 10 (SSC) examination, with an impressive 92.38 percent of students passing the test.

GBSHSE Chairman Bhagirath Shetye reported that out of 18,914 students who appeared for the exam in April, 17,473 successfully passed. Girls performed exceptionally well, with 8,918 out of 9,596 passing, resulting in a 92.93 percent pass rate. Boys also showed strong results, with 8,555 out of 9,318 passing, achieving a 91.80 percent success rate.

The overall pass percentage for the SSC examination stood at 92.38 percent.

Shetye mentioned that due to the hot weather conditions typically experienced in April, the board is considering moving the SSC examination schedule to March starting in 2025 to provide a more comfortable environment for students.
