Goa Olympic Association Delegation Meets CM Pramod Sawant to Discuss Setting Up of Olympic Bhavan

A delegation from the Goa Olympic Association (GOA), led by Secretary General Gurudatta Bhakta, called on Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant to discuss the proposal for establishing an Olympic Bhavan in Goa. The delegation included GOA Treasurer Jayesh Naik, Taekwondo Association President Navin Pai Raikar, Kho-Kho Association President Sunil K. Naik, Badminton Association President Manoj Patil, and GOA Member Sidharth Satardekar.

During the meeting, Secretary General Gurudatta Bhakta emphasized the significance of creating an Olympic Bhavan, noting that it would bring together all sports associations under one roof and strengthen the sporting ecosystem in the state.

Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant assured the delegation of the government’s full support and cooperation, promising to expedite the process in the interest of athletes and to further promote the spirit of sportsmanship in Goa.

GOA Treasurer Jayesh Naik expressed his gratitude to the Chief Minister for his encouraging response and continued commitment to the growth and development of sports in the state.
