12 June 2025: In response to the tragic plane crash that occurred earlier today in Ahmedabad, claiming several lives, the Government of Goa has declared State Mourning on June 13, 2025.
As a mark of respect and solidarity with the bereaved families, the state government has ordered the cancellation or postponement of all government-supported festive programmes, public celebrations, and official entertainment on that day.
The General Administration Department has issued strict instructions to all government departments, corporations, and autonomous bodies to adhere to the directive.
The order was issued by Under Secretary (GA-II) Shreyas Dsilva, under the authority of the Governor of Goa.
