CONGRESS FILES COMPLAINT AGAINST PM, CM & OTHERS FOR SPREADING MISINFORMATION

Panaji – Congress Party today filed a Complaint before Chief Electoral Officer Ramesh Verma against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant and others for spreading misinformation and demanded immediate action.

Congress President Amit Patkar along with other Functionaries submitted a three page Written Complaint to the CEO at Altinho, Panaji.

In his Complaint, Congress President Amit Patkar has stated that the South Goa Congress Candidate Capt. Viriato Fernandes is a War Veteran who has served during Kargil War. He has further mentioned that the Speech of Capt. Viriato Fernandes was Twisted and Misinterpreted to suggest that he disrespected Constitution of India.

Congress Party has also stated in its Complaint that “It is pertinent to note that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also the party to spread misinformation. Amit Patkar has further stated that PM Modi in his Speech in Chattisgarh in the context of Speech of Capt. Viriato Fernandes maliciously projected as if the speech of our Candidate was to disrespect the Constitution of India.

We demand action against PM Narendra Modi, Goa CM Dr. Pramod Sawant, BJP President Sadanand Shet Tanawade, Minister Mauvin Godinho, MLA Sankalp Amonkar, MLA Daji Salkar and BJP Spokesperson Damodar Naik, stated Amit Patkar in his Complaint.
