Bold Police Operation Recovers Stolen Datsun Redi Go Car – Accused Apprehended

Panaji: Panaji Town Police cracked the case of a stolen Datsun Redi Go Car, valued at approximately Rs. 2,00,000, from an open parking place at Taleigao Community Hall. Shri Larson Savio Fernandes reported the theft on 12/01/2024, leading to the registration of Crime No. 04/2024 under section 379 IPC.

Utilizing CCTV footage and meticulous planning, the Panaji Town Police, led by PI Nikhil Palekar, successfully traced the stolen vehicle, registered as GA 08 N 2386, and identified the suspect as Raj, a 32-year-old native of Ratnagiri, Maharashtra. The arrest was executed by a dedicated team comprising HC-7110 Vinit Kurtikar, HC-5151 Nitin Gaonkar, PC-6492 Sayesh Uskaikar, and PC-7816 Aditya Mardolkar, all under the overall supervision of Shri Sudesh R. Naik, SDPO Panaji, and Nidhin Valsan, IPS, SP North.
