While Goan youths are suffering due to unemployment, the BJP government is limiting job opportunities in the private sector by encouraging recruitment from other states. Earlier, pharmaceutical companies attempted to import workers from other states, and now other companies have followed suit. The government has failed miserably to curb such practices and introduce employment policies that benefit local youth. The BJP’s focus on ‘Swayampurna’ doesn’t seem to apply to employment opportunities.
