Margao – The invitation card of the Foundation Stone laying Ceremony of Road over bridge at Rawanfond and Improvement and Widening of Road from Khareband to Victor Hospital exposes the Anti-Councillors and Anti-Women Agenda of BJP. We strongly condemn the act of Margao MLA Digambar Kamat for not mentioning the name of Vice Chairperson of Margao Municipal Council Deepali Sawal on the invitation card. We also condemn non-mentioning of the names of other Councillors on the invitation card, stated South Goa District Congress President Savio D’Silva.
People of Margao should realise that Margao MLA Digambar Kamat is only concerned about himself and his Family. He is desperate to promote his Son as his Political Heir. He has no respect and regards for the Councillors who are elected on Congress supported “Model Margao” panel.
Margao MLA Digambar Kamat is fooling the people of Margao by claiming that he will soon become the Chief Minister of Goa. He fooled the seven MLA’s who joined him in Defection by promising them to make Minsters.
Many local Councillors of Margao are in touch with the Congress Party. We are strategically making our political moves and we are confident that Congress Candidate for South Goa will get lead in Margao Constituency in the Lok Sabha elections in 2024.
Margao MLA Digambar Kamat is using pressure tactics on the local Councillors. He is using Government machinery to supress the voice of dissent against attempts made by him to promote his Son as next MLA of Margao. Councillors from Comba, Malbhat and Aquem are having strong objections to the moves of Margao MLA and soon there will be open revolt, said Savio D’Silva
