Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao highlights the shortcomings of the BJP Government’s Budget 2024-25, terming it a NAPAAS (Not All Promises Achieved) scenario. The Action Taken Report on Budget Announcements for the fiscal year 2023-2024 reveals that only 27.9% of the promises made were fulfilled. Out of 390 announcements, a mere 109 were completed, 279 were initiated, and 2 were dropped.

Alemao criticizes the government’s track record, coining the phrase “Big Announcement, Zero Fulfillment” to describe the apparent policy under Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant. The whopping ₹26855.56 crore budget for 2024-25 is portrayed as a mere attempt to generate a “Feel Good Factor” ahead of the upcoming Loksabha Elections. However, Alemao asserts that in reality, this budget is “Good for Nothing.”
