Panaji: The District Magistrate of North Goa has imposed a temporary ban on the entry of tourists and the general public to the Basilica of Bom Jesus and Se Catedral in Old Goa from November 18 to November 20, 2024.

This restriction has been implemented to facilitate preparations for the upcoming exposition of the Sacred Relics of St. Francis Xavier, scheduled to begin on November 21, 2024.

The order will remain in force until November 20, unless modified or revoked earlier, ensuring the necessary arrangements are completed in and around these iconic religious sites.
