PANAJI: BJP National General Secretary Arun Singh has refuted former BJP minister Pandurang Madkaikar’s claims that cabinet ministers in the current government are “busy making money by taking bribes to clear official files.” Singh called the allegations “completely false” and asserted that the government is functioning with honesty and transparency.

Madkaikar, a former minister, made the statement while responding to media queries about the state government. He claimed that he had personally experienced such incidents, raising concerns about corruption at the top levels of governance.

However, Singh dismissed these accusations, stating that the people know the government is working efficiently and with integrity. The remarks have sparked fresh political debate over corruption claims in Goa.
