Panaji:
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Vice President Sunil Signapurkar launched a scathing attack on the BJP government, alleging a total collapse of law and order in Goa following the Pernem shooting incident.
“Gundaraj has peaked. Pernem was once a peaceful place, and today gunshots are being fired. The BJP has failed to maintain law and order, while the Chief Minister is busy doing PR events,” said Signapurkar in a media statement.
He further accused the government of fostering a system where criminals operate with impunity.
“Criminals no longer fear the police because they know that by paying money, they can get away,” he said, urging Goans to unite and end what he described as BJP’s corrupt rule.
Signapurkar also took a swipe at both major parties, stating,
“Neither Congress nor BJP can end this Gundaraj. Only an honest and pro-people party like AAP can restore peace and accountability in Goa.”
