20 August 2026: The PWD Department, under the leadership of Minister Digambar Kamat, is making steady progress on the construction of a Foot Over Bridge at Fulancho Khuris, Bambolim, aimed at providing safer and easier access for devotees visiting Fulancho Khuris and the Krishna Mahadev Temple.
Nearly 70% of the construction work has been completed, with the project expected to be fully operational by November 2026.
Once completed, the Foot Over Bridge will allow devotees and pedestrians to safely cross the busy road, reducing the risk of accidents and improving accessibility. The facility is expected to be particularly beneficial during religious festivals and other occasions that witness a large number of visitors.
The project is part of the PWD Department’s efforts to improve public infrastructure while giving priority to pedestrian safety, accessibility and public convenience.
