7-Year-Old Meera Falari Crosses Mandovi in All Goa River Swim Event

Seven-year-old Meera Omkar Falari successfully crossed the Mandovi River on Sunday during the 3rd All Goa River Mandovi Crossing held on April 19, 2026.

The event, organised by Sagar Aquatics and Swim India Club, saw eight young swimmers aged between 6 and 11 years participate in the challenging swim from Reis Magos to Panjim Gymkhana.

The participants were trained at Bambolim Beach twice a week under the guidance of Coach Sagar Patil, Coach Rahul Patil, and Dayanand Patil.

The event concluded successfully with strong support from Dr. Ajay Gaude, Executive Director of the Sports Authority of Goa, Minister Digambar Kamat, Life President of the Swimming Federation of India, and Yogiraj Kamat, President of the Goa Swimming Association.
