Anjuna: In a joint operation by ANC police, Crime Branch and Anjuna Police, seven party revelers have been booked for consumption of narcotics.
As per SP North Nidhin Valsan, during a night patrolling on Anjuna beach at around 11 pm on Saturday, seven persons were checked for drugs and their samples confirmed consumption narcotic.
The accused persons are identified as Dhaval Kumar Odhavjibhai Sojitra (28 years) a resident of Arambol and native of Surat City, Nidhin N S (32); Dilshad Najeeb M P (27), Ajin Joiy (20), all three from Kerala, Sandesh Naik (28) and M Vijaya Shankar (24) both from Karnataka and Koladiya Nishant Bharat Bhai (26) from Surat in Gujarat. SDPO Mapusa Jivba Dalvi informed that they have zero tolerance to drugs and random checking for consumption of drugs will continue in future.
