Mandrem Police have arrested a Ugandan national, Ms. Hajarah Nakanwagi, aged 29, for overstaying in India without valid documentation.
According to SDPO Pernem Jivba Dalvi, the arrest occurred during routine patrolling at Arambol Pernem, where police found Ms. Nakanwagi without a valid visa. She has been charged under Section 7(1)(3) of the Foreigners Order 1948 and Section 14 of the Foreigners Act 1946.
The investigation is ongoing, led by LPSI Archana Sharma of Mandrem Police Station.
