Ward Councillor Sandra Da Cunha Provides Insight into Ongoing Infrastructure Developments

In a recent statement, Ward Councillor Sandra Da Cunha shed light on the progress of phase I of the Smart City Works in CCP Ward 30. Scheduled for completion by April 24th, the stretch from Vithoba temple to Amul Ice cream Parlour is on track, with significant milestones achieved:

  • Sewer Line: Completion of 1699m out of 1699m
  • Manholes: 41 out of 44 completed, with the remaining 3 in progress
  • Inspection Chambers: 50 out of 58 completed, with the rest underway
  • Debris Clearance and Road Instatement: Ongoing progress

Councillor Da Cunha urged non-residents to adhere to signboard directions leading to the Kadamba bypass until the road is officially opened to the public. Highlighting the challenges faced by residents due to traffic congestion, dust pollution, and safety hazards posed by ongoing construction, she emphasized the importance of cooperation from all stakeholders.

Acknowledging the inconvenience caused by construction projects, Councillor Da Cunha appealed for support and cooperation from the community to ensure the smooth and timely completion of the works.
