Reacting to the incident of firing at Bethora Junction by an unknown assailant which injured one person, Leader of Opposition slammed BJP Government for converting Goa into a Crime Destination.

There is absolutely no fear in the minds of the Criminals as the entire law enforcing machinery is compromised due to political interference. Mafias are operating in Goa with the blessings of BJP, claimed Yuri Alemao.
We had seen few months back how an infant was abandoned at Miramar and Police were helpless in tracking the culprit as the CCTV Cameras were not functional. Once again report of non-functional CCTV Cameras has come out. BJP Government is not learning lessons from the past, Yuri Alemao said.
I demand thorough and impartial investigation of the incident as well the detailed report on non-functional CCTV Cameras at the site. Government which fails to provide Safety and Security to Citizens has no right to Govern, said Yuri Alemao.
