Panaji: while addressing press conference today North Goa SP Akshat kaushal have informed the Mandrem police have successfully located a Nepali national lady who had been reported missing from a guest house in Mandrem.
The guest house owner had filed a missing report, stating that Ms. Aarti Hamal, a Nepali national, had disappeared on 25/03/2024.
Acting swiftly upon receiving the report, Mandrem Police, under the leadership of SP Akshat Kaushal and SDPO Pernem Jivba Dalvi, along with PI Sharrif Jaques, mobilized various teams. These teams promptly conducted checks at neighboring hospitals in Goa and various hotels.
After thorough analysis of CCTV footage, the missing individual was found safe in Chopdem, Pernem – Goa, within 10 hours of the initial report being filed.
The investigation into the matter is ongoing.
